Bauchi Governor Host the 27th Annual Conference of Animals Science association of Nigeria.
His Excellency Governor Bala Abdulqadir Mohammed Kauran Bauchi, hosted the 27th animals science association of Nigeria on it's 2022 annual conference, on sustainable animals production, current status and way forward promised to make Bauchi state a home for general agriculture.
The Governor who was represented by the deputy governor Sen Baba Tela, in his keynotes address commend the efforts and roles of the Nigerian association of animals sciences in the country for developing ideas and strategies as well coming up with initiatives, adding that animal science is essential to the efficient production of wholesome animal products, and example of the economic effect.
Also agricultural animals convert feedstuffs into the food and other commodities consumers demand, animal scientists have undertaken broad investigations using highly sophisticated techniques.
The animal sciences comprise applied animal physiology, nutrition, breeding and genetics, ecology and ethology, and livestock and poultry management. In addition, diseases of food animals are the focus of many veterinary scientists.
While concluding the speech of his Excellency the governor of Bauchi state, he applauded and appreciate the leaders and organizers this great occasions both Animals science association and the Nigerian Institutes of animals science for for chosen Bauchi state to host the 2022 annual conference of the Animals science.
